Kodala  is a town in Indian state of Odisha and is part of the Ganjam district.  The town is located at co-ordinates  19.63°North and 84.95°East and has an average elevation of about 52 feet or 16 meters. According to the 2001 census of India the town has an average population of12,341 people with 50% males and 50% females. The town has an average literacy rate of 54%. Kodala is moderately developed town and one can find presence of few hospitals banks and a post office. There are few hotels and restaurants at different locations of the town to accommodate all those visiting this part of Odisha.
